Metropolitan Museum of Design Detroit is a non-profit based in Detroit, Michigan .

The mobile collaborative programming has been our platform for programming for five years. In January 2020 one of our sponsors has invited MM-O-DD to be housed within their space. We thank Collected Detroit.

 IMPACT | ACCESS | ENGAGEMENT | OUTCOME  

We aim to fill a need for Detroit to have a world-class Design Museum by providing educational enrichment which may turn into work-force interest for multiple generations.

We are inclusive, collaborative and outreach to diverse communities. Our goal is to provide historical, current and futuristic insight Our abilities are as guides in Design thinking and environmental awareness. We align our programming with people versed in innovative solutions in the Design Industry. 

Most of our programming is free to the public. We engage the public and encourage everyone to participate with their community as a socially responsive opportunity

The outcome for all efforts are to discover and explore the valuable talents from the past, currently and who is working on our future in the Design Industry.

Metropolitan Museum of Design Detroit is an open platform, constructed by and for local-to-global communities to emphasize the Design Industry to all ages. Currently powered by volunteers, interns and international exchange connections. Those individuals engaged are professionally or have a personal passion in the Design Industry and related fields.  On-going programming and the variety of positions available change and expand periodically. CONTENT: Seeking Writers, photographers and collectors to collaborate and develop the digital collections ecosystem.
