The next Exhibit celebrating black design is COMPOSED, Opening Friday, September 6, 2024. Composed provides access to educational enrichment and experiential opportunities to investigate the design behind two genres of music, Opera and Jazz including music composers and the costume designers. Composed is a collective consciousness that leads the way for communities to understand the depth of contributions Black and BIPOC persons have brought to the world, and to celebrate those creative individuals leading the way, many with Detroit ties. *

Past exhibit: Voices and Choices (April 8th, 2023) showcased the who-when-what (people) and the where-why-how (careers) of designers identifying as Black American and/or African American. *

MM-O-DD will announce details of our vitual and in-person events via social media and direct emails to our members. All enquires are via info@mm-o-dd.org
