LEON DICKEY

Voyage showcases Dickey’s ability to connect the world, elevating consciousness with his abstract expressionism. Dickey’s inspiration harkens from found objects and materials: couture clothing, nature, glass, metal, plastic, and paper. Through artistic experimentation, Dickey creates 3D works, vessels, and sculptures, placing the otherwise tossed on a higher plane.

Developed in the 1990s by Dickey, his revolutionary “Burn” Series of Embers is produced by applying different fuel types to his canvases and sculptures. This technique creates an effect that adds to one of many of his unique styles. Dickey’s work is experiential, a critical mission point of the MM-O-DD culture, connecting diverse communities and empowering people through design and art.

The mood continues now through August 2, 2024.
