This MM-O-DD curriculum is uniquely produced to offer educational enrichment and experiential opportunities aligned with its mission of lifelong learning, inclusive design, community innovation, and respect for nature and culture.MM-O-DD Enrichment Curriculum“DESIGNED BY NATURE: Biomimicry: The Art of Investing” Hosted by: The Metropolitan Museum of Design Detroit (MM-O-DD)Ages: 7–16+ | 1-8 Sessions | 30-60 minutes per session, some sessions can be longer. Audience works with a single age group or multiple age groups on a sports team or a youth investment group of all ages. The purpose & vision program empowers youth to explore the intersection of design, ecology, and economics through the lens of biomimicry. Rooted in MM-O-DD’s mission to honor inclusive, nature-attuned, and community-driven design, students will gain foundational tools to think critically, create ethically, and invest responsibly—all while understanding that they, too, are designers of their future and their environment.
