Dr. Patricia Bath, an ophthalmologist and laser scientist, was the first female African-American doctor to patent a medical device, but also the first person to invent a surgery that greatly advanced treatment for cataracts. Dr. Bath invented the Laserphaco Probe in 1981, which used lasers to treat cataracts more precisely and less painfully. The invention was able to recover vision for people who had been blind or vision-impaired for decades.

Kevan Hall is an American fashion designer best known for his celebrity red carpet dresses and his role as the design and creative director of Halston. In 2001, he launched his eponymous brand, Kevan Hall Signature that includes couture evening wear, women's pret-a-porter suits, accessories, and luxury home goods

Kevin Bastyr is an advanced audio product developer and team leader with extensive experience in audio innovation, particularly in automotive applications. They served as a Distinguished Engineer on the CTO's Audio Systems Team at HARMAN International and, as a Senior Manage led the development of the world’s first automotive road-noise cancellation system. Their work has resulted in six US patents related to audio technology. Currently, Kevin works as an Automotive Portfolio System Architect at
