Stop by the museum and check out our Biomimicry Shadow Boxes and join in with a self-led activity. Release your inner creative spirit as you think of your favorite animal and discover its super-power. From there, imagine your own design that takes inspiration from that superpower. Take it a step further and explore the ways in which your design could be developed and produced with sustainability in mind.  At MM-O-DD, the sky is not a limit - it is inspiration and invitation to think differently. Past Exhibit - Earthlings Unite, April 2024 concentrated on Energy Conservation and how various mediums honor and promote that within the design community. We are all connected. We are Earthlings Unite. [Image from Event]

THANK YOU! We appreciate the support from all who value our mission. The outcome is an AH-HA spark toward the future workforce in Design and related fields. MM-O-DD is the only Design Museum in Detroit, which is the only designated UNESCO City of Design in the nation.
